Banjo Ben's Cabin Camp - Texas Farm! March 25, 2023!

Folks, Cabin Camp is going to TEXAS again! We're gonna have a ball. Expect a Texas-sized time with plenty of BBQ & bluegrass!

LENGTH OF CAMP: 1 Day

DATE: Saturday, March 25, 2023, 9AM to 9PM CST

LOCATION:Banjo Ben's farm near Kilgore, Texas - Just 2 hours east of Dallas! There is a regional airport (KGGG) just a few minutes from my farm, so you can easily catch a quick flight (via American Airlines) from Dallas as well. Rent a car right there at KGGG and you'll be all set! Come to camp and be home in time for Sunday dinner! 

PRICE:$329 each including continental breakfast, lunch, and supper. Supper guest passes are available for purchase, $25 each!

Skill Level:Established beginner through intermediate. Must be able to play basic rhythm chords along with slow songs and have a desire to begin soloing/improvising. If you feel super comfortable jamming with pros, this camp may be too basic for you. If you can't play simple chords with slow songs, this camp may be too advanced for you.

Atmosphere:This camp is an intimidation-free zone! No one will be put on the spot or made to feel dumb! Mess ups are encouraged, because that means you're trying. I mess up all the time, haha.

Preparation: The best way to prepare is play with my PickAlong lessons found HERE! You don't have to be able to play solos, but it's good to familiarize yourself with the melody and try to learn the chord progression. There is no stress, y'all. Just do what you can to prepare, and I'll take you from there!

I keep it small. I want to actually get to know you and join you on your pickin' journey. I'll have some of the BEST instructors in the biz, who happen to be my family and best friends! I will be floating around teaching in each group and holding theory/jam sessions for all! 

The price is $329, which includes:

• Small group sessions and personal attention!
• 3 excellent meals!
• Over $50 in gear and accessories!

Price does not include:

• Lodging, which is amply available at nearby hotels. 
• Travel to/from Kilgore
  

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations will incur a 3.5% processing fee. After December 24, 2022, there will be a $250 cancellation fee; no refunds after January 24, 2023. If for some reason the event is not able to be held, refunds will be given to all registrants.

FAQs: 

1. Can I bring my family or friends? You may purchase supper guest passes. The guests will be welcome to join us for supper around 6PM and after-supper activities. They will not be able to attend the camp during the day. 
2. Should I fly or drive? That's up to you! The closest airport to the farm is KGGG in Longview, TX, and is an American Eagle destination. We are also 2 hours east of DFW & Love Field.
3. What happens if it rains? I have facilities that will accommodate ;) 
4. Can I bring more than one instrument? You can, but you'll need to commit to one instrument for the learning portion of the camp. When it comes to jamming, you can play whatever you want!
