LOCATION: Banjo Ben's Cabin & Home in Mount Juliet, TN!

PRICE: $799 each, with 3-day supper guest passes available for purchase!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: February 1, 2020, but it will sell out LONG before that.

Skill Level: Late beginner to intermediate. Must be able to play basic rhythm and pick out basic solos, even if you have to read tab to do so. If you feel comfortable jamming with pros, this camp will be too basic for you.

Atmosphere: This camp is an intimidation-free zone! No one will be put on the spot or made to feel dumb! Mess ups are encouraged, because that means you're trying. Believe me, I mess up all the time. Also, the entire camp will be kid-friendly, as I have a 5 and 8-year-old who will both be hanging around and going through your purse or wallet. 

Preparation: I will help you prepare! I'll send you build-a-break arrangements of the tunes we'll be working on, as well as other tips to get you ready. That way, you'll be ready to play with me and others right from the start!

 

I keep it small. I want to get to know you and join you on your pickin' journey. I'll have some of the BEST instructors in the biz, who happen to be my family and best friends: Katy Lou Clark, Penny Lea Clark, Jake Stogdill, and adding Abby Hartley this year on bass!

We will have the BEST food, catered by renowned North Carolina chef Damon Coe, specializing in southern-style sides and wood-fire pit BBQ.

Cancellation policy: Full refund given if requested before February 1, 2020. $100 cancellation fee if requested after February 1 but before March 1, 2020. No refunds given after March 1, except for true emergencies, of course. 

FAQs: 

  1. Can I bring my family or friends? You may purchase supper guests passes. The guests will be welcome to join us for supper around 6PM and after-supper activities. They will not be able to attend the camp during the day. 
  2. Should I fly or drive? That's up to you! I live in Mount Juliet, TN, about 15 minutes from the Nashville airport and 5 minutes from suggested hotel lodging. If flying, you will probably not need to rent a car as Uber and Lyft are common here. 
  3. What happens if it rains? I have facilities that will accommodate ;) 
  4. What will the weather be like? Late March is just about perfect, spring weather! You may need a light jacket in the evenings outside. 
  5. Can I bring more than one instrument? You can, but you'll need to commit to one instrument for the learning portion of the camp. When it comes to jamming, you can play whatever you want!
