Beard Deco Phonic Model 57 Squareneck Resonator Guitar With Case

We were blown away by the power and tone of this line of reso guitars!  Crafted at the Beard Mastershop in Maryland, this is a best seller!

Beard guitars usually cost thousands of dollars.  This line makes a way where you can own a legendary Beard guitar at a much more affordable price.  When I first tuned these up and played them I was shocked at the amount of power and tone it had, but then I thought “why wouldn’t it have?”  Because all the components are the same as on the higher end models, the main differences being the open pore satin finish (which even helps the resonance) and the toned down cosmetic features.  Beard has a real winner on their hands here.  The idea of this line in general is to reach back to the Art Deco age when the resonator guitar (dobro) first made its appearance.  This one being made in the Model 57 style, which is a little bigger body and more of a dreadnaught shape overall...similar to the style of guitars Jerry Douglas uses.  The end result is a bigger bigger tone with even more power.  These things can rattle stuff off the walls!
