In this hour-long session, KSB and Banjo Ben will teach a LIVE lesson on understanding banjo chords! This is such an important topic that goes far beyond the chord shapes. We'll talk tips & tricks to use them, play licks within the chords, and find ways to remember where chords are no matter where we're at on the banjo neck!

Who should take this class?
Anyone who is interested in a learning more about banjo chords from the 6-time IBMA Picker of the Year & renowned teacher and communicator Kristin Scott Benson. She taught backup to a few of my campers at an event I had back in the summer and blew their minds! I've been hearing about it ever since, and so she's going to bring that same approach to this Banjo Ben LIVE. Plus, remember that you can play this lesson later as your understanding grows. So, here's your chance to learn from a pro, no matter your skill level!

What are we gonna do?
Kristin is going to spend an hour explaining the basic anatomy of banjo chords and how we can find them where and when we need them. But then we'll see much more, by using chords to spice up our backup and lead playing! Then, we'll have time for a Q&A with Kristin, so come with your banjo chord questions!

How long does the class last?
This single class will last about an hour. And don't worry if you can't make the class as it streams or if you have a goldfish's memory...we'll publish it where you'll have access to watch over and over!

What if I can't make the live event? Can I watch it later?
You bet! I'm recording it and will send you a private link after the completion. This also helps those of you who can watch live. Don't worry about taking notes and remembering everything Kristin says...you can always go back and review. Instead, I want you to come, relax, learn at your own speed, and have fun! We'll also do some fun giveaways and surprises!

Does each individual viewer need to have their own ticket?
Well, that depends. I require that each device have their own ticket. If you and your friend or family watch together on one device, that's great! But, please don't share the event ticket with other folks. Want to buy access for someone else? Sure! Just contact us here!
