This is a stunning instrument.  So many cool and unique features.  It has a modern flare but a tone fit for even a demanding traditionalist.  Already comes with K&K pickup so it’s road worthy right out of the box.  

This MD615 offering from Eastman does not disappoint, and represents all the quality and attention to detail that we’ve all come to expect from Eastman.  It’s basically your traditional F-Style mandolin when it comes to performance, but it has a modern flare when it comes to the aesthetics.  Nicer woods are used and I particularly like the scalloped down pickguard which puts my pinky guide in almost the same location as when I play guitar.  Makes you wonder why they all aren’t like that.  Just a great value overall!
