This guitar is a wonderful build based on the versatile OM-28 model that is so highly regarded, but with a few of Collings signature twists to put their fingerprint of power and clarity on this model.  These have so much going for them, clarity yet depth, power yet subtlety, sparkle yet warmth, a guitar that can truly be used in almost every situation!

The Traditional Series in the vintage-inspired approach to voicing and construction designed to produce a strong fundamental response and open feel, with rounder highs and less overtone complexity compared to the signature Collings sound. The combination of an OM body and traditional style voicing, paired with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer make for a woody and articulate voice that exemplifies everything we love about the T-Series. 

Collings’ Traditional series instruments (T) offer a slightly looser, more “broken in” feel and tone, featuring a rounder high end and fuller low midrange, along with Traditional aesthetic appointments, such as gold MOP inlays and custom wood purflings and rosette.  Traditional models also feature an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer body finish, abbreviated tongue brace, and a unique neck construction designed to complement the looser feel and voicing, along with a Traditional neck carve.
