I have always been a fan of the Martin series guitars, so imagine my surprise when I found an Eastman that competed very closely to my favorite Martin’s and was a fraction of the price.  They did everything right on this guitar.  From the thermocured Adirondack Spruce top and bracing to the bone nut and saddle, to the super nice ebony fingerboard and bridge.  Every detail is considered when making this model, and it really shows in the tone and playability.  It’s one of those instruments that just plays and sounds like you always wanted, and it seems to do so with no effort at all.  The smaller body and easier reach makes it ideal for certain situations, and it’s still big and warm and resonant sounding. If you want a big time pro level sound without the big time pro price tag, this is the guitar for you.
