Like all Eastman mandolins, this one has every bit the quality of construction and performance you’d expect. What sets this one apart aside from its stunning looks is that it utilizes mahogany tonewoods for a richer, fuller, and sweeter tone. It still barks though, and has great volume and projection. The looks remind me of the Gibson Victorian Model they reissued some years back. So it’s very classy.
