Gallagher Guitar Co. Bluegrass Bell Custom Large Soundhole Dreadnought Guitar With Case

Monthly payments available Learn more

Quite possibly one of the very best new guitars we have ever played!  We are sort of spoiled here with high end guitars at the general store, so when one like this comes along and impresses us as much as this one does, you can know it’s a very special instrument.  The tone speaks for itself.  Great depth and power, unmatched responsiveness as well and plays like butter!

This Bluegrass Bell in general harkens back to the prewar days of vintage guitars. Not just any vintage guitar, but one in particular is paying homage to “the antique” both aesthetically and construction wise.  The large soundhole and bound blank fretboard is done so well on this model, it just looks and sounds incredible. Also utilized is the forward shifted x-brace that was patterned after a 1937 Martin! With added torrefied Adirondack spruce top and bracing. In a departure from the regular headstock design, Gallagher has moved to a more traditional squared off headstock on this model.

• Solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides
• Upgraded Thermocured Solid Adirondack Spruce Top
• 1 3/4″ nut width with jumbo frets, Comfortable V Neck Profile

  • Forward-shifted X-brace
  • Through-Cut Bone Saddle
  • Herringbone trim and rosette
  • Ivoroid bound body
  • 1 ¾” Bone Nut, joined at the 14th fret
  • Blank Ebony Fretboard
  • Square headstock
  • Open gear tuners

Indian Rosewood has always been a staple of bluegrass tone.  The range is exceptional, with clear highs, resounding mid-range punch, and a rich and defined bass.
