Incredible guitar with all the features you’d want in a versatile triple ought, but at fraction of the price of most similar options.  And, this one has aged 30 year old Adirondack Spruce!

Recording King RP-342 evokes classic parlor guitar style, sound & volume thanks to hand-selected tonewoods and vintage styling similar to that of a 0-42 Martin!

The foundation of the 342’s tone comes from solid Adirondack spruce tops that has been naturally aging for the past 30 years. Adirondack’s excellent projection, coupled with three decades of curing delivers a stiff, loud, lightweight top with powerful fundamental tone.  Very powerful in the midrange as well as the bass response, and the trebles are clear and solid.  Great for all applications including finger style and flatpicking!  I find this guitar particularly good for old timey music!

Combine that aged top with solid Rosewood back and sides, and you have a fundamental tone machine!

The 342 is styled with classy, 42 style abalone appointments.

For players that need the power and volume that only a higher end acoustic guitar can provide, but still want the warmth and vibrancy that comes with aged tonewoods on vintage guitars, the RP-342 offers the best of both worlds at a fraction of the price of a vintage instrument.  Includes full professional setup, strap button installation, and free shipping within the lower 48 US.
