Possibly the world's best child-sized fully functional bluegrass banjo!  With a two-way adjustable truss rod, a bone nut, planetary tuners, a geared fifth string peg, and a complete setup before leaving out shop, this is a very playable small/travel banjo.  It has an 8” head stretched across a solid brass tone ring, and puts out a nice crisp tone and plenty of volume.  Its scale length is 19-3/4 inches and tunes up to the key of C with standard gauge strings, so when played in it's open position (No capo) it feels and sounds as if a capo is used at the Fifth fret of a full size banjo. If you are playing with others and need to tune to standard G, the string gauges may be changed to the following: . 016, . 034, . 024, . 019, . 016.
