Hi, I’m not really happy with these strings for my mandolin, maybe I should have used the lighter ones. I had the D’addario strings on it before and may go with those next time. It doesn’t sound quite as bright now so I’m learning… thank you. I love your sight and lessons and you all make me laugh!! Best, Jody knoop

I was able to visit on a number of occasions Bruce Weber, of the original Weber Mandolins made in Logan, MT, who worked on my Weber Bitterroot A. He stated that at that time all Weber Mandolins were stringed with this set of John Pearce strings. Unfortunately many music stores do not sell Pearce strings for mandolins. The Pearce strings are great!
