Cumberland Acoustic Hardwood Armrest for Octave Mandolin (Maple, Ebony, and Rosewood)

One of our most requested items for mandolin, and Cumberland Acoustic does a fantastic job on the quality of these gorgeous armrests!  This one is just a bit bigger to work on most octave mandolins!  Adjustable from approximately 2 1/4”to  2 3/4”.

Increases comfort by reducing the sharp edge your forearm typically contacts on the mandolin, and also theoretically increases volume and resonance by suspending your forearm above the mandolin where it can’t kill as much of the vibration of the top.  Only a very small portion of the armrest contacts the top and the remainder is suspended above it.  The attachment points are lined with a soft and durable cork type leather substitute to help prevent finish and slipping of the armrest.  Stays in place well!

Easy to attach in the same manner as a violin chin rest via barrel screws with provided key wrench.  Works well on the vast majority of production A-Style and/or F-Style mandolins!

Available in maple, rosewood, and ebony...and with either chrome or gold plated hardware!  Choose desired combination from drop down box!
