Deering 11" Frosted Top Banjo Head

The most common head used on Deerings bluegrass banjos.

11” diameter and medium crown height, so it will fit about any bluegrass flathead style 11” banjo.  The frosted top produces a crisp bluegrass tone.  

 Low Crown - 3/8" ( Fits most archtops) Medium Crown - 7/16" ( Fits most archtops AND flatheads) High Crown - 1/2" (Fits most flatheads)

To determine which crown height you need, measure from the top of the stretcher band (metal ring around circumference of head) to the top of the head.
