Remo Weatherking Smooth Top/Frosted Bottom 10 15/16" Banjo Head

Smooth top heads are great for cutting down on finger noise, especially for plectrum or clawhammer styles where fingers might drag across the head.

For Bluegrass, this head has long been the standard.  Fits slightly smaller 10 15/16” pot assemblies.

Low Crown - 3/8" ( Fits most archtops)

Medium Crown - 7/16" ( Fits most archtops AND flatheads) 

High Crown - 1/2" (Fits most flatheads)

To determine which crown height you need, measure from the top of the stretcher band (metal ring around circumference of head) to the top of the head.
