Virtually Brand new but at a steep discounted used price!   

We just sold this banjo to a very nice lady a few months back.  She’s struggling with some health issues lately and needs to sell the banjo.  This thing is virtually brand new except for some very minor cloudiness on the armrest (probably would polish out) and on the trip back to us the case took a little hit and has a ding.  This could be minimized too appearance wise, and the functionality of the case isn’t hurt any.  It’s still solid.  


The Deering John Hartford Model Banjo was inspired by John’s love for steamboats and early American Banjos.  The wooden tonering makes it several pounds lighter while still producing a crisp bright tone with a nice warm roundness.   

This Hartford has a big round tone that is full bodied with great bass and sweet highs. With the Grenadillo wood tone ring, it has a more woody tone but still retains great responsiveness, crispness, and ring.  It’s just a wonderfully musical sounding banjo.  Includes professional setup, fifth string spike capo installation, hardshell case, manufacturer lifetime warranty, and free shipping!
