This is one fantastic guitar, just a dream to play, gorgeous to look at, and has a very satisfying fundamental tone!
Constructed with the finest materials and workmanship available, this guitar is “boutique” in every sense of the word. The slightly shorter scale and wider string spacing makes it effortless to play, and these features also enhance accuracy and cleanness. The notes are quick and responsive and the tone is well timbered and rich. The speed neck helps keep the hand from getting stuck during slides, and the sound port allows you to hear every subtlety of every note you play. This one is in really clean condition and just recently had the frets reworked by the builder, and to our knowledge is the only guitar like this as it was a prototype. If any of y’all know Jed Clark you know he is an incredible player and he demands the best in an instrument, so it should tell you a lot about this instrument that it satisfied his guitar needs for quite some time (He still is playing a similar Edmonds, just with slightly different specs.) If you want to hear this guitar, it was the same one used in Jed’s lesson with Ben which can be found on Ben’s lesson site or on YouTube.
