The new Chris Thile pick!  This is a special material pick (casein) which is nearly identical in structure to tortoise shell!  It even has that great organic feel when holding it between your fingers.  As such the same care should be given as if it were real tortoise shell.  Don’t run it through your washing machine or carry it in a pocket full of abrasive objects (such as keys, coins, knives, cog gears, chainsaws, etc!)

• Right Hand Speed Bevel
• Very similar in size and shape to the TAD line of BlueChip picks
• Manufactured in 55/1000 of an inch (1.4mm) thickness and has a custom bevel per Chris's specifications
• Material is very fast off the string and generates a warm yet defined tone. 

Chris Thile is donating all royalties made from this pick to the charitable D’Addario Foundation which furthers music education in communities and schools.  

Note: Just like real tortoise shell, these picks are subject to moisture warping and can break if enough torque is applied.  So just keep pick clean and dry when not in use and don’t purposely try to break it and you should be fine.  But pick will curve and mold to the shape by pressure of your fingers…
