Cumberland Acoustic Unbound Abbreviated A-Style Mandolin Pickguard made from quality materials.  

Priced less than a traditional full sized pickguard, these abbreviated pickguards sport a very classy look. They also offer the advantage of covering less of your mandolin’s treble F-hole, thereby letting more sound out of the instrument while still protecting the top of your mandolin from pick wear. These pickguards give maximum protection with minimum coverage, and simply look fantastic!

This guard is made with top notch materials, faux tortoise synthetic with a thick reinforcement strip along the edge which attaches to the underside of your fingerboard via two pins (included.)  This makes installation fairly easy even though drilling of a couple holes is necessary.  But the holes required are small and in a hard to see location, overall this is much less invasive than what is requisites to install most of your full sized pick guards.
