American made quality and consistency, these are coated via special process for great tone and long lasting resistance from skin oils which deaden strings quickly, and each pack is foil sealed for long shelf life.
Phosphor Bronze wound strings were introduced in the early 1970’s and have become the most popular acoustic string. Phosphor bronze wire is made from approximately 92% copper, 7% zinc and 1% phosphorous. Phosphor Bronze provides nice highs and lows, as well as pleasant subtle overtones. Phosphor is used to help reduce tarnish and corrosion, and produces a rich deep tone.
