Gallagher Guitar Co. Bluegrass Bell Grand Concert Guitar With Case

Quite possibly one of the very best small bodied guitars we’ve played!  We are sort of spoiled here with high end guitars at the General Store, so when one like this comes along and impresses us as much as this one does, you can know it’s a very special instrument.  The tone speaks for itself.  Great depth and power, unmatched responsiveness and plays like butter, and just has that really old, special, dry tone!

This Bluegrass Bell in general harkens back to the prewar days of vintage guitars. Not just any vintage guitar, this one reaches back even beyond the inception of the dreadnought!  It’s smaller body size is very comfortable to hold, and it’s old dry tone just begs to be demonstrated through old simple melodies. Aesthetically, this guitar is very attractive.  The way the darker sunburst gives way to the antique yellowish herringbone binding, with a slotted headstock and curvy body, is a beautiful thing.  In a departure from the regular French curve headstock design, Gallagher has moved to a more traditional squared off headstock on this model.
