The Bluegrass Bell harkens back to the prewar days of vintage guitars. We achieve that goal with forward shifted x-brace that was patterned after a 1937 Martin! With added torrefied Adirondack spruce top and bracing. In a departure from the regular headstock design, Gallagher has moved to a more traditional squared off headstock on this model.

The tonal range on this particular guitar is very similar to d Martin D-18’s we’ve played. Which is to say that it is exceptional, with clear highs, dry mid-range punch, and a rich and defined bass.
