Lakota Cradle 2" Strap For Banjo - Available in Brown, Black, or Tobacco Finish
$65.00
All Lakota Leathers banjo straps are made from quality materials such as Bison (American Buffalo) and Elk hide, and are among the softest and most comfortable straps we have ever tried.
Lakota Leathers banjo straps are unique. The cradle straps feature a single"tail" section that completely encircles your banjo's pot assembly. Two Chicago screws are used to secure the tail section to the 36" main body of the strap. We suggest putting a drop of clear fingernail polish into the female end of the Chicago screw when you get it adjusted where it is comfortable. This will help secure the screws. The soft material and 2” wide strap makes for one of the most comfortable leather straps you could ever have.
Note: Cradle style straps do not always work well on lower end banjos where there is not much room between the J-hooks and rim. Does not work with Deering Goodtimes series banjos either. And for some folks they make the banjo lean forward a bit farther while standing than their personal preference may be.
Available in Brown, Black, or Tobacco Finish. (Choose in drop down box)
Note, this series of straps are likely to have superficial imperfections such as scarring, fraying, etc…this is just due to the nature of the leather used and how such imperfections can exist in the animal hide. Also, the exact shade of the color can vary somewhat from strap to strap since they are all handmade and each piece of leather can accept the stains differently.
