Pre-Owned Martin 1953 D-28 Dreadnought Guitar With Case

As special of an instrument as they come!  This one has all the tone and special Martin sound that everyone is craving in a vintage Martin D28!  

This is a wonderful sounding and playing vintage players grade Martin.  Brazilian Rosewood with the often discussed “mystery” spruce top.  The neck set looks good, there’s plenty of saddle height, the frets have been replaced with jumbo frets and there’s a lot of play life left in this guitar as it is.  It has had some work done over the years (haven’t we all).  The most notable thing concerning the value of this guitar, is that at some point years ago it was refinished…but it appears to be the proper lacquer type finish and has aged wonderfully as can be seen in the pictures.  Also it’s had a couple cracks on the top along the pickguard and on the back that have been repaired, as well as a “whiplash” neck fracture up by the headstock.  All the typical expected things really for a guitar of this age.  But all these things are structurally sound and this guitar doesn’t really need much in its current state other than to be played.
