 The Saga Travel Banjo can be taken anywhere! It’s the perfect instrument to take along on road trips, to the office or even attached to your back-pack for that long weekend hike. The sound, and playability is much higher end than most banjos of this size.  It’s a legitimate quality instrument and even serves well as just “something different” in a band or recording context.  Great tone and sustain, perfect for old time traditional play but can be played three finger style too.  

All the features of a full size banjo, in a smaller travel size. 17 fret, short scale 5 string, designed for "C" tuning...but other tunings can be used as well.  Overall good condition.  Some very minor cosmetic wear, nothing too notable aside from the metal on the tension hoop and j-hooks being a little hazy.  But that’s normal and to be expected and could easily be polished out if desired.  No real fret wear or notable damage of any kind, and as you can see from the pictures, even the frosted head doesn’t have hardly a couple weeks worth of play wear dirt on it.  An armrest has been added for comfort, so that’s extra value that these didn’t normally come with when they were new from the factory.
