A great handmade FW-5 model mandolin to get in to for a lot less than one might typically find. Overall condition is good, typically play wear but not abused. No structural issues such as top sinking, cracks, etc... Has a nice punchy Gibson like tone!
"The Wade" F-5 style mandolin. Hand made by renowned luthier Yoichi Ueda. Made August 28, 2008 in Japan. Serial number P20031. Condition is actually quite good for a mandolin of this age. Some normal, minor cosmetic play wear but nothing that needs any attention, also the fingerboard extension has some drop off which can be common on mandolins with some age, but nothing that is posing any structural issues. Sounds great, deep woody chop and string clear lead notes. Neck profile is a deep V, thicker than some but quite comfortable to a guy like me with average sized hands.
Flat Ebony Fretboard
