It varies from camp to camp. Click the links above to visit the individual camp pages for more information on skill level!

What kind of atmosphere should I expect at Cabin Camp?

This camp is an intimidation-free zone! No one will be put on the spot or made to feel dumb! Mess ups are encouraged, because that means you're trying. Believe me, I mess up all the time. Also, the entire camp will be kid-friendly, as I have a 6 and 8-year-old who will both be hanging around and going through your purse or wallet.

How do I prepare for Cabin Camp?

I will help you prepare! I'll send you some tunes we'll be working on, as well as other tips to get you ready.

What does the price of Cabin Camp include?

  • Small group sessions and personal attention!
  • Fantastic food!
  • Basic setup of your instrument, a $100+ value!
  • Exclusive offers on General Store inventory!

What about lodging and transportation?

Lodging and transportation are not provided, so you'll need to reserve a hotel and secure your transportation to and from camp each day.

Regarding the Bigfork Montana Cabin Camp. Have any interest that Bruce Weber, of Weber Mandolin fame, lives there and now has a Lutherie shop just out of town? If so, let me know and I can send you contact information or speak with Bruce, whatever you would like me to do. Cwby Tim DeRoche ( a signed-up banjo student… : )

I read your Covid policy. Pretty clear but you didn’t mention the v word. Is proof of vaccination required?
