Meet B.O.B., the Gold Tone CEB-5 Octave Banjo!

This banjo has earned a nickname here around the store. We call it B.O.B.–short for “Big Ole Banjo!”

And it has a sound to match! It just comes alive with wonderful bass tones that fill the entire room. It’s very comfortable and easy to play, and brings out the creativity in you no matter what style you choose to play.

That was lovely, and your’re right— it does have an “Old” sound. Maybe BOB is the “grampa” of the family of banjos!

That is a sweet, droning sound. The Canote brothers have some nice old time songs played on a “BOB” type banjo that I love. Now that you are showing clawhammer banjos, will you please start clawhammer lessons.
