Pre-owned Ratliff R5 F-Style mandolin with great vintage appearance and tone! Completely handmade in the US by Audey Ratliff.

2006Ratliff Mandolin with Sitka Spruce top. It obviously shows some honest playing wear (which I personally love the appearance of) but still plays fine and is solid. It has a deep vintage sound with a big woody chop. It is a good player grade mandolin. It does have a speed neck. The hardware has all been upgraded and consists of Waverly Gold Tuners (Pearl Knobs), a James Tailpiece, and a nice MOP truss rod cover. In used condition these sell for around $2500, and this one has around $800 in the additional upgrades as well.
