Pre-Owned Premium Parts Banjo With RK Neck With Case

This is a fantastic playing and sounding parts banjo!  Consisting of a Cox rim and Kulesh tone ring, the heart of this banjo build enables it to get up and run with the big boys!

Just a great banjo at a great price.  Setup wonderfully, plays and sounds top notch.  It has that good Mastertone sound with lots of volume and depth and a crisp attack.  The neck is the early RK style with wide white binding and real Pearl inlay, mahogany (which makes it sound more like a mahogany banjo, even though this build has a beautifully figured maple resonator). Condition is good, build quality is good, so not much to find fault with.  The only negative is that the hooks and nuts are mismatched.  Can’t really tell unless you remove the resonator, but that’s an easy DIY fix with a new hook and nut set if desired (though not necessary). Even has premium Rickard 10:1 ratio tuners with ivoroid buttons installed!
