Great to see that you are now carrying these! I have yet to find strings I like better than these. The choice of gauges is the result of the typical analytical approach that Bill took to everything he did. The first, second and fifth strings are all the same gauge, 0.011. This makes the first and fifth a little heavier than usual which feels great when pinching those two strings and the lighter than usual second string is a pleasure to bend. The heavier outer strings make for a bit more pressure on the outer part of the bridge which seems to help the tone a bit. An added bonus, since three of the strings are the same gauge, they are interchangeable. I prefer the bronze wound fourth string (red package). I hope you will be carrying them as well. I used to get them from Bill himself at festivals which also makes them special to me.
