“A 440” Tuning Fork

The simplest and most reliable reference for tuning any instrument.  The trusty ole “A440” tuning fork.  Simply give it a whack on your knee and touch the ball end of the fork to the top of your instrument to hear a pure A note for a tuning reference.  One of these should be in every case.
