But this is really a brand new instrument with a high end pickup system installed, and includes all that would come with a new instrument. It was purchased from us and sent back shortly after because the owner decided to go with and even higher end model.

These guitars are hand built in the USA with the same specifications as higher end Beard guitars, but with a minimalist perspective. They come with a custom radio coverplate, a vintage inspired satin finish, and are made of quality birch. Allowing even more players to be able to afford the legendary performance of a Beard instrument!

For the player looking for the classic style and sound of the 1930s resonators! The Beard R Model has a traditional body shape and open soundwell construction. It features a traditional layered birch body construction and the highest quality Beard parts! Perfect for traditional playing! The R Models smaller body produces a clear sustained high range balanced with a punchy growling bass end. It’s very easy to pull tone from, the sound just jumps out at the slightest command. The R Models feature Paul Beards triple spun Legend Cone and an Original #14 spider bridge!
