The 1934 Jumbo features a solid, thermocured aged red spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides — a tonewood pairing legendary for its big volume and rich, full tone. The 1934 also features a beautiful mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard that offers smooth playability and stellar response.

The thermal aging process on the 1934 involves subjecting the tonewoods to the perfect level of heat over a carefully selected span of time. Because the red spruce top on the 1934 Jumbo has been thermally aged, all the impurities and moisture that stunt the overall tone of the wood has been removed, resulting in a sound that is pure and time-worn. The low end is more expansive; the midrange balanced; the high end clean and forward. The 1934 sits in the mix of just about any ensemble, or is great for solo performance.
